A new webinar, national conference, funding support, and recognition for our co-founder.
Dear friend,
This summer, we’re seeing growing momentum to support women’s mental health, and we’re keeping that momentum going at Seleni.
July brings meaningful milestones that reflect our commitment to transforming care across the reproductive lifespan: an upcoming (free) webinar on July 16, our participation in the 2025 PSI Conference, a Q&A with Clinical Care Coordinator Grace Furlong, and new support from the Fidelis Community Health Grant. We’re also opening our scholarship application for primary care providers dedicated to maternal mental health equity!
We remain focused on expanding access to care and workforce training. In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find highlights, opportunities, and stories that inspire.
FREE CE Webinar: Eliminating Implicit Bias in Maternity Care
Due to overwhelming demand, we’ve doubled capacity for this session. We initially offered 100 spots, and they filled quickly! Now, we’re opening 100 more spots to accommodate increased interest.
Join us virtually on Wednesday, July 16 at 12pm EST for this free, CE-eligible webinar in partnership with the Kenworthy-Swift Foundation. We’ll examine how unconscious bias can shape the care we provide—particularly for Black birthing individuals—and explore actionable strategies to eliminate its impact.
New Orleans, July 9–13. We’re at PSI 2025 in New Orleans! Stop by Booth 37 to connect with the Seleni Institute team and talk all things maternal mental health.
Plus, did you know that we're a proud PSI partner? If you're a member of PSI, you can save 20% on all Seleni coursework and 30% if you're a group.
Navigating Care with Grace: A Conversation with Our Clinical Care Coordinator
As Seleni’s Care Coordinator, Grace Furlong is often the first person new clients speak to, and the first to create a sense of safety and trust. Her intake calls are more than just logistics. For many, they mark the first time they feel seen and heard.

Highlighting Perinatal Loss and Grief Training for National Infertility Awareness Week® (April 20–26, 2025)
In recognition of National Infertility Awareness Week®, we’re spotlighting Seleni’s Perinatal Loss and Grief training, an essential course for providers supporting individuals and families through miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, and reproductive trauma.
"Seleni’s Perinatal Loss and Grief training was incredibly impactful. The use of real-world examples and family experiences made the content deeply engaging and relevant—far beyond the theory-heavy approach of many other courses."
