Our July Newsletter

During July we focused our attention to National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. New York Senator, Samra Brouk, announced that legislation she authored to improve maternal mental health screenings had been signed into law. Access to maternal health care has been historically disproportionate for Black mothers and people of color, and this announcement helps take a step closer to closing the gap.

We encourage our professional community to take advantage of a limited time discount on all of our trainings and to invite your colleagues to apply for the current round of Seleni's Maternal Mental Health Scholarship, designed to support health professionals working in underserved communities.

As always, Seleni is here to help and we encourage you to please reach out to us if you or a loved one needs support.
